A SuperPAC funded in large part by billionaire Tesla, Starlink, and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is preparing to launch a series of digital ads aimed initially at swing state voters in support of former President Donald Trump, and the messaging is distinct and direct.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you sit this election out, Kamala and the crazies will win,\u201d notes one ad on Google\u2019s YouTube, which has been viewed more than three million times. \u201cYou will be stuck with higher costs and more illegals invading our country.\u201d It also depicts Trump as an \u201cAmerican Badass,\u201d using imagery of him pumping his first in the air following the July assassination attempt and imploring everyone to \u201cfight, fight, fight!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe must STOP Kamala while we can,\u201d reads an America PAC ad on Meta Platforms Inc.\u2019s Facebook, where Musk\u2019s PAC has placed the vast majority of its digital ad spend. \u201cArizona families have had ENOUGH of radical liberals.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bloomberg News reports<\/a> that another ad on Facebook includes a voice-over with a Russian accent: \u201cMeet Comrade Kamala,\u201d the 30-second video says. \u201cReady to bring Soviet Union to Michigan.\u201d<\/p>\n Also on X, one ad recalls how the former president\u2019s political opponents \u201ctried to kick Trump off your ballot\u201d before adding: \u201cThey even tried to end his campaign and take him out for good.\u201d<\/p>\n Musk publicly endorsed Trump on July 13, shortly after the assassination attempt on the Republican candidate\u2019s life in Pennsylvania. In addition to pledging millions of dollars to his super PAC, Musk hosted Trump for an extensive campaign event on X and has become one of his most vocal supporters this election cycle.<\/p>\n The America PAC began its Facebook ad campaign in July, focusing on contrasting President Joe Biden\u2019s and Trump\u2019s economic plans. One Facebook ad said Trump \u201cwill unleash the production of domestic energy resources, reduce the price of gasoline and natural gas, promote energy security, and ensure that our nation is never at the mercy of foreign countries for energy.\u201d<\/p>\n Bloomberg added:<\/p>\n After the assassination attempt on Trump, the ads continued switched their messaging to extolling Trump as a brave, defiant fighter with the now famous fist-in-the-air photo. Only in the last two weeks have the ads started attacking Harris directly, including video ads on Facebook featuring her laugh or painting her as a radical, with prompts to make sure Trump supporters have a voting plan.<\/em><\/p>\n America PAC\u2019s Google ad campaign began in August, with most of the $281,400 the campaign had spent as of Friday afternoon going toward YouTube video ads, particularly targeting Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Nevada and Wisconsin.<\/em><\/p>\n The \u201cAmerican Badass\u201d ad on YouTube was targeting men in North Carolina between the ages of 18 and 34, according to Google\u2019s ad demographics. The same ad was shown in Arizona more than 1.5 million times to the same target audience.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cYou can put a stop to Kamala\u2019s chaos,\u201d says an America PAC ad on X. \u201cMake your plan to vote today and help President Trump win Georgia.\u201d<\/p>\n Another ad on X, directed at voters in Nevada, says, \u201cKamala laughs while Americans suffer.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump has been stockpiling endorsements from people that some may have thought would not endorse him.<\/p>\n In addition to Musk, former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Democrat Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp who the former president had feuded with, have all come out now and publicly endorsed Trump.<\/p>\n And now another name can be added to that list.<\/p>\n Silicon Valley investor Naval Ravikant spoke to former Fox News host \u00a0Megyn Kelly on her Sirius XM show and said that it was the \u201clawfare\u201d against the former president that convinced him to support him,\u201d Breitbart News\u00a0reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was the lawfare that kind of brought me off the sidelines.
