President-elect Donald Trump has selected his press secretary and it came as a shock to many who were watching the sweepstakes.<\/p>\n
On Friday the president-elect picked campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt\u00a0to serve in the position of White House Press Secretary.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday, the 45th and 47th President of the United States\u00a0Donald J. Trump\u00a0announced that Karoline Leavitt will serve as White House Press Secretary. Karoline was the Trump Campaign National Press Secretary and previously served in the Trump White House as Assistant Press Secretary,\u201d he said in a press release.<\/p>\n
\u201cKaroline Leavitt did a phenomenal job as the National Press Secretary on my Historic Campaign, and I am pleased to announce she will serve as White House Press Secretary. Karoline is smart, tough, and has proven to be a highly effective communicator. And the new campaign manager responded to the announcement on X, formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n

Trump promised Kennedy he would have full autonomy over health and food policy in his administration after Kennedy ended his presidential campaign and endorsed the now-president-elect.<\/p>\n Trump assured Kennedy that he could \u201cgo wild\u201d with health and food policy once he withdrew from the race to support the incoming president.<\/p>\n Pro-Trump businessmen Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have officially joined Trump\u2019s incoming administration, according to a statement<\/a> from the president-elect.<\/p>\n Trump announced in a statement on Tuesday that the two would jointly lead the newly established Department of Government Efficiency. Both Ramaswamy and Musk were vocal throughout Trump\u2019s campaign about the need to reduce the size and power of the federal government.<\/p>\n \u201cI am pleased to announce that the Great Elon Musk, working in conjunction with American Patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency [DOGE],\u201d Trump\u00a0wrote<\/a>\u00a0on his Truth Social platform.<\/p>\n \u2018DOGE\u2019 is also a cryptocurrency that Musk has often promoted.<\/p>\n \u201cTogether, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies,\u201d Trump added in his statement.<\/p>\n The Department of Government Efficiency is not a new government agency.
