Vice President Kamala Harris\u2019 first video message to her supporters after the election left social media users stunned on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The video, posted on the Democratic Party\u2019s official X account, showed Harris addressing followers who were discouraged by the recent election results.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just have to remind you, don\u2019t let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before Nov. 5, and you have the same purpose that you did. And you have the same ability to engage and inspire. So don\u2019t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you,\u201d Harris said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m saying that in the darkest moments, people lose faith in that.<\/span>\u00a0Are there people out there that feel that way?<\/span> And you reminded people that, yes, there are, and there are a lot of us. And that strength cannot be taken from us. That is our strength, it cannot be taken from us,\u201d Harris continued. \u201cThe light of America\u2019s promise will burn bright as long as we never give up and we keep fighting. And the fight that fueled our campaign, a fight for freedom and opportunity, that did not end on November 5th. A fight for the dignity of <\/span>all people receive the promise of America?<\/span>\u00a0No.<\/span>\u00a0A fight that is about a fight for the ideals of our nation, the ideals that reflect the<\/span>\u00a0promise of America, that fight\u2019s not over.<\/span>\u00a0So look, we still have a lot to fight for, okay?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Many X users were buzzing about Harris\u2019 appearance in the video, commenting that something seemed \u201coff\u201d about the vice president and expressing surprise that it was shared publicly.<\/p>\n DC Examiner contributor Kimberly Ross responded, \u201cIs this a\u2026joke?
